Before you publish this: This is a complete first draft matched to exactly how LandIt's trial, billing, and cancellation flows actually work in the code — not generic boilerplate. Fill in the bracketed placeholders, and have a Norwegian/EU-qualified lawyer review the billing, cancellation, and liability sections before relying on this for real customers (Norwegian consumer-protection rules on subscriptions and cancellation are specific, and getting them wrong has real consequences). 1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of LandIt (landitai.com), operated by Ørnung Önal, org. no. 938418551, Norway ("LandIt", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What LandIt is

LandIt is a resume-building tool with an ATS score, keyword targeting, AI-assisted resume writing, an AI mock interview, and job search. Some features are free to everyone; others require an active trial or paid subscription (section 4).

AI-generated content

The AI mock interview and AI resume-writing suggestions are generated by a third-party AI model and are meant to help you write and practice — they are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular job application. You're responsible for reviewing and making sure anything you put on your actual resume is truthful. LandIt's AI writer is built to flag missing facts (e.g. with a placeholder like "[X]%") rather than invent specific numbers or achievements, but you should still check every suggestion before using it.

Job search results

Job listings shown in LandIt come from third-party job search providers (currently Adzuna and Careerjet). We don't control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy or availability of these listings, and we're not the employer for any of them. LandIt doesn't guarantee you'll get an interview or a job.

3. Who can use LandIt

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.

4. Free trial, subscriptions, and billing

Free trial

New accounts get a 7-day free trial. Starting it requires choosing a plan (monthly or yearly) and entering payment details through Stripe — your trial automatically continues into that paid plan when the 7 days end, and your card is charged then, unless you cancel first. We'll email you a reminder before that charge happens. Canceling before your trial ends means you're never charged at all.

Paid plans

Paid subscriptions (monthly or yearly, priced as shown on the Pricing page) are billed in advance and processed by Stripe. Prices may change for future billing periods — we'll show the current price before you subscribe, and any price change only applies going forward, never retroactively to a period you already paid for.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from the Account panel's "Manage billing" button (Stripe's Customer Portal). Canceling during your trial means you're never charged. Canceling a paid subscription stops future billing; your access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for, with no partial refund for the unused portion.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account (Account panel → Delete account) cancels any active subscription and permanently removes your data — this can't be undone.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use LandIt to:

Submit false credentials or fabricated experience that you know to be untrue on a resume you present as genuine
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the Service
Abuse the AI features to generate content unrelated to resume-writing or interview practice
Attempt to bypass the trial/subscription access checks

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

6. Your content

You own the resume content you create in LandIt. We only use it to provide the Service to you (rendering your preview, generating your PDF, powering the AI features you use) — see the Privacy Policy for exactly how and with whom it's shared.

7. Disclaimers and liability

LandIt is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we don't guarantee any employment outcome from using it.

To the extent permitted by law, LandIt's total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

8. Changes to these Terms

If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email before it takes effect.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any dispute not resolved informally will be handled by the courts of Norway, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
